Meet The Founder

Adeline’s passion for empowering youth and women began during her time working for international NGO, where she focused on connecting young people with relevant opportunities. It was there that she identified a critical gap: while various initiatives supported women and youth to complete their education, there was limited assistance in helping them secure jobs, apply their skills, or access start-up capital.

Determined to address this gap, Adeline recognized the promising potential of the horticulture export market, alongside mushroom and livestock farming sectors offering stable and reliable demand with the power to break the cycle of poverty. She launched her business by first providing agricultural inputs to underserved farming communities.

DAVET established agreements with farmers and cooperatives, supplying seeds, livestock, and mushroom farming inputs on credit. The credit would then be repaid through the delivery of produce from these cooperatives, creating a true WIN-WIN situation. This innovative model has generated rural employment, increased incomes, added value, and enabled farmers to expand and thrive.

What Our Students Say

Everything Concerning Our Support and Contribution

Technical Capacity

Our experienced and skilled agronomists coach and conduct daily follow-ups with our cooperative farms, teaching them everything from land preparation to post-harvest handling.

Financial Capacity

We also provide agro-inputs to cooperatives, allowing them to pay back after selling their harvests. This creates opportunities for farmers with little to no capital to develop their operations.

Managerial Capacity

Through the daily farm monitoring, we support cooperative leadership with all necessary advice and practices which their members need to adhere to to ensure quality and quantity harvests.

Market Linkage

We buy produce from the various cooperatives and sell them to various buyers in regional and international markets, creating opportunities for growth and improving livelihoods.
